Who is Jason McNaughten?

I am a pastor of a local church in Louisiana. Go to http://www.walkerbaptist.org for more info. More importantly,  I am married to my wonderful wife and am a father to my three precious daughters. I love to spend time with my family, run, read, and write. I am the author of three books: Confessions of a Depressed Christian, Panic to Peace, and Confessions of a Frustrated Parent.

  1. Glad you started back writing again. I kept checking the other site because I had faith you would begin again. Look forward to this new site.

  2. You are experiencing what everyone does that losed a loved one. There are many emotions. Each day brings its own. It was great getting to know your dad. It was evident, he was a great family man.

  3. Jason, enjoy your writing and always good to hear from you. I didn’t realize you were in Louisiana, for some reason I thought you were in central Missouri somewhere! Take care friend!

    • Hey Allen, I was in Central MO, near Jeff City for about 3 years. I have been in N. LA since Feb of 2007. I am now just an hour away from “home.” I hope things are well with you and your family. Thanks for reading my stuff. You, as always, are a great encouragement.

  4. I just finished your book. Confessions of a Depressed Christian.
Thank you for your transparency. I am 60 year old – Old Dude!
It is so hard to see, understand what the reason(s), that one would gave this thing called depression. The more I try to understand and educate myself from others it does help.
Thank you again, with much love and appreciation,
    In His Grace,
    CC

    • Craig, thank you for reading my book and reaching out to me. I hope and pray it has been an encouragement to you. If you get a chance, it would be appreciated if you would post a review on Amazon for me. Send me your e-mail and I will send you an electronic copy of my new book, Truths for the Anxious Christian. God bless. Jason.
